Functional Area Networking (FANs)
Academic Support Services, Advising & Retention - Connect with professionals focused on academic support, advising, persistence, and student success. Share strategies for strengthening student learning, identifying and supporting students at risk, and improving retention and degree completion.

Assistant/Associate Vice Presidents & Deans of Students - Connect with senior student affairs leaders responsible for broad portfolios of student support, engagement, and institutional response. This FAN provides a space to exchange perspectives on emerging issues, leadership challenges, and effective practices.

Career Services - Connect with colleagues supporting students’ career development and professional preparation. Share innovative programming, employer partnerships, assessment practices, and strategies for integrating career development into the student experience.

Commuter Student Services - A community for professionals supporting commuter and off-campus students. Exchange ideas for building connection, belonging, engagement, and access to campus resources for students who do not live on campus.

Event Services - A community for professionals who plan, coordinate, and support campus events. Exchange ideas, resources, and best practices related to event planning, logistics, risk management, collaboration, and creating meaningful student experiences.

Finance/Admin - A space for colleagues who manage the financial, operational, and administrative dimensions of student affairs to exchange practices, resources, and solutions to common challenges.

Global Studies - Connect with colleagues who support the spiritual development, faith formation, and mission-centered life of students within Jesuit higher education. Share programs, resources, and practices that integrate Ignatian spirituality, reflection, service, justice, and interfaith engagement into the student experience.
