Hi All,
I wanted to start a discussion regarding ways in which you all engage with your colleagues, in your respective institutes, to sign up for JASPA?
I also wanted to ask if there is a way to make groups that are already on this site for networking purposes more active? If they are more active, I think it may draw more people to register and make use of their memberships.
Since I am the Liaison my university, I wanted to be change I want to see and decided to start a discussion in hopes of getting this group more active.
I look forward to hearing from you all.

I have seen groups, including the JASPA Liaisons, use email rather than this group feature of the website. The functional group I participate in has an email listserv that will is not busy, but will typically have 1-2 emails a month that folks will respond to. We also get together virtually once a semester. We started that (and met more regularly) during the COVID pandemic). The Chair of the Networking committee might have more specific feedback, particularly about individual networks.
Regarding the upcomingsummer institute, we have a standing item on the monthly meeting our vice president has with all department heads in Student Affairs, so we have been promoting the institute at that meeting regularly.
