- Deirdre Bowen, Moccasin Lake Foundation Endowed Chair and Professor of Law and Director, Family Law Center, Seattle University
This 90-minute webinar will offer Jesuit Student Affairs professionals an opportunity to consider how our Jesuit mission informs productive engagement with current legal and political issues.
- A panel of legal and civic experts will offer specific guidance for how Student Affairs professionals can lead students to become agents of change through our Ignatian tradition using the issue of reproductive justice and domestic violence as a focal point.
- Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the current issues associated with reproductive justice and civic engagement with Jesuit educators who offer uniquely Ignatian perspectives.
- Q & A will offer participants an opportunity to discuss civic action around challenging social issues with experts as they consider their own engagement and how to support student engagement in these critical issues.
